INTRODUCTION
The Cain’s Crossing Renaissance Faire is an annual event operated by the Cain’s Crossing, Inc., 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to “bringing a page of history to life” for the education and enjoyment of thousands of school children and the community. This annual family event has educated and entertained the Auburn area for five years and has established a positive reputation among educators, the renaissance faire community and the public.
The Auburn community has many local events; however, none offers a similar experience to the annual Cain’s Crossing Renaissance Faire. Due to substantial organizational changes, Cain’s Crossing Inc. is offering this Business Opportunity to parties interested in acquiring this Organization and executing the event.
The future of Cain’s Crossing Renaissance Faire is limitless. Pre-existing interest from vendors and guilds seeds success. Potential for the future includes expanding the number of vendors and guilds, moving to a larger site, increasing the number of days the faire is held and expanding outreach programs. Whatever the future holds for this faire, maintaining a family-friendly environment, featuring the educational Passport Program and interaction with school curriculum must be a priority as this is the concept that sets Cain’s Crossing apart from the other renaissance faires in California.

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY INCLUDES:

PROPOSAL PACKAGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Name, address, email address and contact phone number(s) of proposed entity;
- Proposal price (in US dollars $) Minimum proposal, $1. Non-profit organizations are encouraged to submit
their business proposal;
- Organizational structure including board of directors and committees at a minimum. Please also include the
names and location of key proposed figures in the organization;
- Statement of purpose which will include future direction of the faire, corporate status (profit/non-profit),
educational focus, etc.;
- Statement of experience with non-profit organizations and regional public events;
- Proposers requests for 2011 board;
- Signature of authorized agent to bind this proposal;
- Submittal by August 15, 2011.
