The main entrance to Cain's Crossing was through an enormous gateway built by the Diamond Rose Academie crew. Shirefolk in upper landing waved at the faire-goers below.

          The Royal Guard, headed by Captain Dante,
          assembled for procession.



                                       Crafters of many kinds were on
                                       hand to share their knowledge
                                       and skill.



           There was mini-jousting for the kids on Friday
           and heavy fighting on Saturday.



         Two scavenger hunts a day from the pirates was
         a sure way to have fun and win free prizes.


          A fencing tournament and ongoing swordplay
          and fencing lessons for everyone was provided
          by the Diamond Rose Academie d'Armes.

          Each day held a new tournament and more
          swordplay to wow the onlookers who stopped
          to watch.

         The Diamond Rose Guardsmen in their
         signature black tabards stop for a photo in front
         of the main gate.

The ticket booth was a warm welcome for thre fair-goers on this fine day.



Queen Elizabeth was there to enjoy the day and her progress through the Shire.


Silvermane the magician was there to awe the crowds in the amphitheater and also in the streets between performances.

Period games were also offered for the amusement of young and old alike.


Highland archery was very popular during the weekend



The Queens entertainment was an ongoing treat at the Queen's staging area.


The Ottoman Traders brought beautiful dancers to entertain.
everyone.
